WIDNES MODEL FLYING CLUB
Welcome to the Widnes Model Flying Club website. Formed in 1969, we now have a membership of over 40, and the club caters for all types of model flying including Power Models, Electrics, Helicopters etc. New members are welcome, and positively encouraged, and there are experienced modellers who will be pleased to help get your first model airborne safely. The Club is finally moving to it's new purpose built site at Cronton!!! A lovely site in the countryside, all models will now be STRICTLY noise tested, and ANY model not complying with the 82DB level, will not be allowed to fly (this also now applies to the Netherley site, which is also still in use. See the map of new field on the left for where the new field is, and also the pictures in the photo gallery. |

The club is affiliated to the B.M.F.A and operates within their code of practice. B.M.F.A. comprehensive insurance cover is included with membership and special low rates apply for junior members. Click the membership button on the left for further details. |
